Day 1: Arrival | Welcome to Nepal

Welcome to Kathmandu International Airport. On your arrival at the airport, you will be relieved of any travel stress as our representative will welcome you, take care of your luggage and transfer you to the hotel in a private car

After hotel check-in, your tour manager will conduct a short program briefing over welcome drinks. 

Tips to tailor-make your tour

Are you worried about jet lag? We suggest you have a proper rest in your hotel to help you adjust to the climate and new environment. 

If you have an extra bit of energy and enthusiasm, you may spend time strolling around the nearby local market. Let us know in advance so we can arrange it accordingly. Just send us your preferences. 

Note: Dinner will be at your own expense. 

Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing tour

The Kathmandu sightseeing tour begins at 9.30 am when the tour guide will pick you up and take you to the following places:

• Asan, spice and vegetable market
• Indrachowk, an ancient trade centre
• Kathmandu Durbar Square 
• Freek Street

At about 1.30 pm, you will have lunch in Patan Durbar Square, enjoying a good view of the surrounding durbar squares. After lunch, we will continue sightseeing.

• Patan Durbar Square
• Pashupatinath
• Boudhanth

After completing sightseeing, in the evening, we will go to a local restaurant for a traditional dinner while enjoying cultural dance performances.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara

Right after breakfast at 7.30, we will pick you up from your hotel and then begin a long drive to Pokhara. The drive through Prithivi Highway allows you to view beautiful hill villages, meandering rivers and snowcapped peaks. En route, we will stop at a highway restaurant to have lunch. It takes over 6 hrs to reach Pokhara from Kathmandu. 

Before reaching Pokhara, we will visit Rupakot hill which is a vantage point to see three biggest lakes of Pokhara, namely Phewa, Begnas and Rupa Lakes along with a superb panorama of Himalayan peaks. There is perhaps not a better to place to view majestic sunset then Rupakot hill. Rupakot hill hosts Rupakot resort where you can have dinner over sunset views. 

After dinner, continue drive to Pokhara for another one hour. You will check in at the hotel with welcome drinks. 

• Optional route: Fly to Pokhara | USD120 per person | 25 minutes

  If you want to avoid long road journey, you can choose 25 minutes scenic flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Once in Pokhara you can either take a rest or go shopping or do adventure activities such as Paragliding, Bungee Jumping, Ultralight, Helicopter tour, boating, sightseeing, trekking etc. Kindly inform us in advance if you prefer to fly. 

• Trisuli whitewater rafting | USD50 per person | Lunch included

  Instead of directly driving from Kathmandu to Pokhara, you can choose drive from Kathmandu to Malekhu and raft halfway from Malekhu to Kurintar. At Kurintar we will catch a vehicle to Pokhara. 

Note: If you choose this option, you will not be visiting Rupakot hill due to time shortage. 

Day 4: Full day in Pokhara

Early morning you will drive to Sarangkot for sunrise and mountain views. Later you will go down to Phewa Lake for one-hour boating and then return to hotel to have warm breakfast. 

Why not try to have extra fun and excitement by participating in the following activities

• Optional Tour 1: Paragliding tour | USD120 per person | with Photo and Video | 30 min max

  Paragliding is a popular adventure activity in Pokhara. You can do paragliding from Sarangkot to enjoy aerial view of Phewa Lake, Pokhara city and beautiful Himalayan ranges. The package include pick up and drop off services from and to your hotel. 

• Optional Tour 2: Zip Line tour | USD84 per person | without Photo and video 

  The Zipline in Pokhara is one of the fastest in the world with a speed of 120km+ per hour. The Zipline itself is 1.8km long and 600m vertical and provides amazing views of the mountains. 

• Optional Tour 3: Ultralight | USD115 for 15 min | USD200 for 30 min

  Ultralight is a small motorized 2-seat fixed-wing aircraft. It is the fastest and affordable way to experience travelling in air and enjoying great views of landscape of Pokhara Valley and snowcapped mountains from above. With ultralight you can make the nearest approach to the mountains and almost feel it with your hands. 

• Optional Tour 4: Helicopter tour to Annapurna Base camp | USD 350 per person

  Enjoy the comfort of helicopter to visit Annapurna Base Camp at an altitude of 4200m. It takes 20 minutes to reach the base camp from Pokhara airport, a journey of 5 days on foot. The base camp is the only place that offers a 360 degree view of Annapurna ranges. One can enjoy snowfall in the base camp during winter. 

Please feel free to contact us for the pre-arrangement for optional tours while keeping intact the main tours on this itinerary. 

Late afternoon, about 3pm, we will pick you up from your hotel and visit following places: 

1. Davis Fall
2. Mahadev Cave
3. World Peace Pagoda

In the evening visit a local restaurant on the lakeside for dinner. Those who want to change their clothes can take a quick trip back to hotel and then join others in restaurant. Kindly consult with the tour guide. 

Trip note: Those who are not going for optional tour can utilize their time doing shopping, spa etc.

Day 5: Pokhara to Chitwan National Park

At 7.30m after breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel and then begin a drive to Chitwan. Scenic highway drive to Chitwan takes about 5 hrs offering great views of green hills, villages, rural lifestyle, rivers and Himalayan peaks

• Optional route: Fly to Chitwan | USD 117 Per person | 25 minutes

  If you want to avoid long tiring 6hr + road journey, a domestic flight to Chitwan National park from Pokhara is available every day. Please let us know in advance so we can make timely arrangement for tickets.

We expect to reach Chitwan by around 1pm, just in time to have pre ordered warm lunch. After a short refreshment break, the tour guide will give a short briefing about the upcoming tour activities. The tour of Chitwan starts immediately thereafter.

3. Sunset view

Return to hotel after the tour. Dinner will be served in the hotel dining hall. 

Travel tips: Medication recommended for those who feel motion sickness while travelling on vehicle for long hours. 

Day 6: Chitwan National Park activities

After early morning breakfast your guide will pick you up from hotel and take you for following jungle activities.

1. Canoe ride
2. Jungle Walk
3. Visit to Elephant breeding center
4. Elephant bathing

In the afternoon drive back to hotel to have warm lunch. Take some rest before going back for Elephant safari inside Chitwan National Park and nearby community forest. Alternatively, you can opt for a jeep safari. Come back to the hotel after the safari. 

Dinner will be ready by 7 pm. Post dinner, you will participate in the Tharu Cultural dance program organised by the local Tharu youth club.

Day 7: Chitwan to Nagarkot via Kathmandu.

After breakfast, drive back to Nagarkot, which takes about 7 hrs covering 190km. Views of villages, rivers, hills and mountains will be visible along the highway. Once in Nagarkot, you will check into the hotel. Your dinner will be served in the dining hall.

Situated at 2175 m, Nagarkot is a popular hill station near Kathmandu offering a panoramic view of Himalayan peaks and amazing sunset and sunrise views. 

Day 8: Departure | Nagarkot sunrise and Bhaktapur durbar square sightseeing tour

Wake up early to enjoy sunrise views and the panorama of Himalayan peaks, including Mt. Everest, if the weather is clear. Afterwards, we will have breakfast and relax for a while. Later, we drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

Bhaktapur is a living museum of Newari arts and culture where you will explore Taumadhi, Pottery and Dattatraya Squares, the museum, palaces and temples. You can enjoy a delicious Newari lunch and the most famous yoghurt of Nepal, called Juju Dhau.

After Bhaktapur sightseeing, you can choose from the options below

If your flight is sooner, we will drop you off directly at Kathmandu International Airport

If you are departing late in the evening, we will drive back to Kathmandu, where you can spend some time shopping and relaxing. We will drive you to international airport for your departure flight as per your flight schedule.
