After some time to rest, your trip begins with a guided exploration of Kathmandu’s iconic sites, including the sacred Pashupatinath Temple – an important pilgrimage site and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On the second day, begin on a 7 to 8-hour scenic journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara that passes through picturesque valleys, winding rivers, terraced fields and charming rural villages that showcase the natural and cultural beauty of central Nepal. On the way, you can experience thrilling white water rafting on the Trishuli River, which is perfect for adventure lovers. Alternatively, make a memorable trip to the Manakamana Temple via a thrilling cable car ride – Nepal’s first – where you can pay homage to the wish-fulfilling goddess while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding hills and landscapes.

Upon arrival in Pokhara, enjoy the majestic Himalayan landscape before boarding a short and scenic flight to Jomsom, the gateway to the sacred region of Mustang. From Jomsom, embark on a scenic trek along the Kaligandaki River to the Muktinath Temple – one of the holiest pilgrimage sites for both Hindus and Buddhists. Located at an altitude of 3,710 metres, Muktinath offers a deeply spiritual atmosphere where devotees can perform religious rituals, bathe in 108 holy water sources that are believed to wash away sins, And you can visit the mysterious Jwalamai temple, which is known for its eternal flame.The final leg to the temple involves an exciting 20-minute climb from the Ranipauwa jeep station. Alternatively, enrich your trip with a stopover at Kagbeni, a culturally rich village with Tibetan influences that offers spectacular views and spiritual peace.

The Pokhara-Jomsom sightseeing flight is usually operated by Twin Otter or Dornier aircraft, each of which can accommodate 15 passengers and offer amazing aerial views of the Himalayas. Please note that the standard baggage allowance is 15 kg per adult and 7 kg per child, including both checked and hand luggage. After the spiritual journey to Muktinath, return to Pokhara to spend a relaxing afternoon in the serene lakeside atmosphere. Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu – Hotel Transfer & Evening Visit to Pashupatinath Temple

On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and comfortably escorted to your hotel in Kathmandu. After check-in and some time to freshen up, begin your spiritual journey with an evening visit to the holy Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Experience the serene atmosphere and witness the captivating Bagmati Aarti, a powerful riverbank ritual of devotion that beautifully blends spirituality and local tradition. 

  • Pashupatinath Temple:  Pashupatinath is the holiest and most important temple, as per Sanatana Dharma's (Hinduism) temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Pashupatinath is the head of the body, while the twelve Jyotirlingas in India are believed to form the body of Lord Shiva. located along the sacred Bagmati River. This grandiose temple complex serves as a centre point for spiritual practices during times of spiritual significance like Maha Shivaratri, Haritalika Teej, Balachaturdashi, Ekadashi and Full Moon Days (Purnima), and Shivaratri (Monthly Observance). Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara (Drive)

We left Kathmandu behind and began the 200-kilometre journey towards Pokhara, passing through one of the most beautiful highways in Nepal. The route passes through dramatic turns, crosses turbulent rivers, and offers panoramic views of fertile valleys surrounded by forested hills.

As we descended from the Kathmandu Valley, the landscape began to unfold like a living canvas – every turn in the road offered sweeping views of farmland tumbling down from the hills, old villages perched on peaks and glistening rivers flowing through rugged terrain.

A favourite stop midway through the journey is the revered Manakamana Temple, which can be reached via a 10-minute cable car ride over the Trishuli River and densely forested slopes. It is a short but thrilling climb that attracts pilgrims and tourists alike to seek the blessings of the wish-fulfilling goddess.

Day 03: Flight to Jomsom and pilgrimage drive to the holy Muktinath Temple

Start the morning with breakfast, then take a short 25-minute flight from Pokhara to Jomsom, where the journey will take you through thrilling aerial views of the lush valleys and towering peaks that define the heart of Nepal’s Himalayan landscape. Upon arrival at Jomsom, a hotel representative will be waiting for you to escort you to your accommodation. After a seamless check-in, the next leg of your journey will take you on a 90-minute drive to the Muktinath Temple, located 20 km away. As you travel along the Kaligandaki River, you will enjoy the beauty of the rugged landscapes and the serenity of this sacred area. From Ranipauwa Jeep Station, it’s a short but invigorating 20-minute hike to reach the Muktinath Temple, situated at a lofty 3,710 meters above sea level. The journey is not just a physical ascent but also a spiritual one, with each step bringing you closer to one of Nepal’s most sacred sites. At Muktinath Temple, immerse yourself in spiritual practice by participating in rituals and praying. The sacred ponds nearby invite pilgrims to take a holy dip, believed to wash away sins. While visiting, make sure to visit the Jwalamai Temple dedicated to the goddess of fire before returning to Jomsom. If you wish, take a detour through Kagbeni, a picturesque village rich in Tibetan culture. Please note that the airlines operating on this sector allow a luggage limit of 15 kg per adult and 7 kg per child. Day 04: Fly back to Pokhara from Jomsom & Sightseeing

Start your day early in the morning with a beautiful flight from Jomsom to Pokhara, it is a 20-25 minute journey that offers spectacular aerial views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges towering over the Kali Gandaki Valley.

On reaching Pokhara, check into your hotel and relax by the serene lakeside. The relaxed ambiance of the city is a perfect contrast to the rugged Himalayan terrain of Mustang. And later, start your sightseeing tour of Pokhara.

  • Bindebasini Temple:
    Built in the 17th century, this hill temple is the focal point of religious life in Pokhara. Dedicated to Goddess Durga in her Bhagwati form, this temple hosts lively rituals and offers sweeping views of the Himalayas on clear days.
  • Devi’s Fall (Patale Chhango):
    This unique waterfall disappears into an underground tunnel and looks especially spectacular during the monsoon season. According to local legend, its name is derived from a tragic incident involving a Swiss tourist, which adds an air of mystery to its natural splendor.
  • Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave:
    Right opposite the Devi Falls is the Gupteshwar Cave - it houses a sacred Shivalinga that attracts both spiritual seekers and geology enthusiasts. The cave stretches for over 3 km, with passages leading to chambers that reverberate with the sound of underground waterfalls.

    This short but rich tourist circuit highlights the diversity of Pokhara, not just as a natural haven, but as a sacred crossroads of Hindu devotion and geological wonder, making it an essential stop on the trip.

Day 05: Early Morning Sarangkot Sunrise & Scenic Drive to Chitwan (4-5 hours’ drive) 

  • Sarangkot Sunrise:
    Located on a hilltop just outside Pokhara, this spot offers one of Nepal's most iconic sunrise experiences. As dawn breaks, the first rays of the sun slowly make the snow-capped peaks of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu ranges glow golden and red. This is a perfect moment for photography enthusiasts - capture the panoramic views of the Pokhara valley below, mist-covered mountains, and paragliders flying in the morning light.

After breakfast, begin your 4-5 hour drive from the mountainous terrain to the Terai plains. The route changes dramatically from winding mountain roads to subtropical flatlands, passing through lush forests, river valleys and rural settlements. You will feel the change in climate and landscape as you reach the Terai region, known for its warm temperatures, fertile soil and unique cultural fabric influenced by Tharu heritage.
Arrival and Check-in:
Upon reaching Chitwan, check-in to your jungle lodge or resort, which is often designed with natural beauty and traditional motifs to blend seamlessly with the environment of Chitwan National Park.

Day 06: Chitwan Activities (Full Day Jungle Experience)

After an early breakfast, get ready for a full day full of thrilling and fascinating experiences at Chitwan National Park, one of Asia’s best-preserved wildlife sanctuaries and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  • Jeep Safari – Into the Wild Heart of Chitwan:
    Go on an exciting jeep safari in Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is rich in biodiversity. Visit dense sal forests, open grasslands and riverbanks and spot iconic species such as the endangered one-horned rhinoceros, the elusive sloth bear, spotted deer and – if luck favours – the majestic Royal Bengal tiger. The safari offers photographers and nature lovers a rare opportunity to view Nepal's wildlife in its untamed habitat.

    OR, Alternative Elephant Safaris - A Traditional Jungle Experience:
    Although being phased out for ethical reasons, elephant safaris are a traditional way to explore the jungle. Climbing atop a gentle giant elephant, you will move silently through tall elephant grass and wetlands, offering a unique perspective for observing wildlife and immersing yourself in the primal rhythm of the jungle.

  • Tharu Village Tour - Culture at the Edge of the Forest:
    Visit a traditional Tharu village where age-old traditions co-exist with wildlife. Learn how this indigenous community has adapted over generations – building elevated homes to avoid flooding, using herbal medicine and co-existing with elephants, rhinos and tigers.   • Nature or Jungle Walk - Jungle Secrets on Foot:
    Under the guidance of skilled naturalists, take a quiet but exciting jungle walk through the buffer zone of Chitwan. Day 07: Chitwan to Kathmandu (Drive)

Leaving the subtropical lowlands of Chitwan behind, we head into the central hills on a scenic journey towards Kathmandu. The route goes along the Prithvi Highway, offering ever-changing views of terraced fields, rural villages and the glistening Trishuli River flowing along with lush green hills. This 150-kilometre (93 mi) journey usually takes 5 to 6 hours, depending on road and traffic conditions. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check-in to your hotel and relax in comfort, giving you time to contemplate the incredible diversity of landscapes and cultures you will experience during your trip.

Day 08: Sightseeing and Final Departure

On your last day in Nepal, we will organize a short but meaningful sightseeing tour depending on your flight schedule, making the most of the time before your departure. If time allows, visit two of Kathmandu's most iconic landmarks - Patan Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing Newar art and architecture, and the Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), From where the panoramic view of Kathmandu valley and the deeply spiritual atmosphere can be enjoyed. The package includes hotel accommodations with breakfast, airport transfers, all ground transportation, a flight from Pokhara to Jomsom, guided sightseeing in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan, Muktinath Temple visit, and jungle activities in Chitwan National Park.

You will take a scenic flight from Pokhara to Jomsom, followed by a jeep ride to Ranipauwa, and a short hike (20 minutes) to reach Muktinath Temple, located at 3,710 meters.

Yes, the journey is designed to be accessible. While the altitude may pose a challenge, the hike from the jeep station to the temple is manageable, and support can be arranged upon request.

In Chitwan, you may encounter one-horned rhinoceroses, deer, crocodiles, exotic birds, and if you're lucky, even Bengal tigers during a guided jeep safari and jungle walk.

The allowance is 15 kg for adults and 7 kg for children. Excess baggage may incur additional charges.
