Nepal 6-Day Tour with Scenic Trek to Australian Camp from Pokhara

Day 1: Arrival and Asan Indrachowk tour

Welcome to Kathmandu international airport where you will be received by our representative. After loading your luggage in our vehicle, we will drive you to your hotel where you can check-in and rest for some time. 

We will then walk to Asan to learn about spice and vegetable and then to Indrachowk where you can have chilled delicious lassi. Afterwards we will stroll to Kathmandu Durbar Square to observe magnificent palaces, Kal Bhairav Temple, freak street and then to Kumari Ghar to receive blessing from living goddess Kumari. By evening we will return to hotel. Overnight in hotel. 

Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing tour

• Optional Tour no 2: Everest mountain flight tour: USD 210 per person

  Enjoy early morning mountain flight for close-up views of snowcapped Himalayan peaks including Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Makalu, Mt. Everest, Manaslu and Kangchenjunga. 

After the flight, return to your hotel and have a warm breakfast.

We will pick you up from your hotel at 10.00am and take you for full day of Kathmandu Valley sightseeing. The Kathmandu sightseeing tour will include visit to Boudhanath, Pashupatinath and Swoyambhunath. Boudhanath and Swoyambhunath are two biggest Buddhist stupas in the world while Pashupati is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Lunch will be offered in Swoaymabhunath. Post lunch we will visit Patan Durbar Square, also called city of art, known for its exquisite carving and art engrossed in temples, struts and sculptures. We will end with a visit to a Nepali restaurant to have authentic Nepali dinner while enjoying traditional cultural dance. We will drop you in your hotel for overnight rest. 

Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara by domestic flight

At 6.30 we will pick you up from your hotel so we advise you complete your breakfast well before departure time. We will drive to Kathmandu domestic airport to catch 8am flight to Pokhara. The rows of seats on your right is guaranteed to offer you full views of mountain peaks including Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Gorkha Himal, Manaslu, Annapurna ranges and Dhaulagiri. 

You will be in Pokhara within 30 minutes after leaving Kathmandu. Upon your arrival, you will be taken to your hotel for check-in and some rest.

Paragliding tour

• At around 9.15am you will be picked up from your hotel to take you to Sarangkot for a paragliding flight. 

  Paragliding is one of the most popular adventure activities in Pokhara that offers adventure and scenic views of Pokhara Valley and Himalayan peaks. Operated by certified professional paragliding pilots, paragliding in Nepal is a safe adventure sport. The landing point for the paragliding flights is at the bank of Phewa Lake.

  After paragliding tour, you will be return to hotel and rest till 2 pm. You can utilize this time for lunch break and then carrying out other activities such as Annapurna Base Camp Helicopter tour, Zipline tour or Ultralight. 

We will pick you up at 2pm for following activities:

1. Fewa Lake Boating
2. Visit to Davies Falls
3. Visit to Mahadev Cave
4. Hike to World Peace Pagoda

At about 6pm, we will drive you back to your hotel. The rest of the evening is on your own. 

Day 4: Australian camp trek

Early morning, we drive to Sarangkot with packed breakfast to view sunrise and mountain peaks. Later we drive to Kande via Naudanda for about 45 minutes. Have breakfast in Kande and then begin your trek. The trail is uphill all the way to Australian Camp which offers majestic views of Annapurna ranges, Macchapuchre, Hiunchuli, Dhaulagiri and Lamjung Himal. After eating warm lunch at the Camp, you will trek down to Dhampus.Dhampus is a scenic village inhabited by Magar and Gurung communities. Spending sometime in Dhampus, we trek further down to Phedi and then finally drive back to Pokhara.

Day 5: Pokhara to Kathmandu

We will leave Pokhara for Kathmandu right after breakfast at 7.30am. The 210km road journey takes about 7 hrs. Capture the scenic views of villages, local lifestyle, rivers, green hills and mountain peaks along the journey. Lunch enroute at a local highway restaurant. 

On the way to Kathmandu you can also side visit Manakamana Temple, the wish fulfilling temple by a cable car at your own expense. Please let us know in advance if you are interested so we can make prior arrangement. 

Instead of driving to Kathmandu directly, you can enjoy some extra side trips.

• Side Trip 1: Visit Begnas Lake | USD10 per person

  Begnas is the second largest lake situated 9 km north of Pokhara- Kathmandu highway. Those interested in visiting Begnas Lake, kindly inform your tour guide in advance. 

• Side Trip 2: Visit Bandipur | USD10 per person

  Located some 10km off Dumre along Pokhara-Kathmandu highway, Bandipur is a Newari town popular for medieval houses, Newari architecture and culture and mountain views. 

Check-in hotel after arriving in Kathmandu. You will be free to do what you feel like for the rest of the evening.

• Optional route: Take a 25 minutes flight to Kathmandu from Pokhara.

Day 6: Departure

  Want to enjoy the beautiful sunrise view and Panoramic Himalayan peaks including Mt. Everest? 

  Early morning take an hour drive to Nagarkot to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and amazing views of Himalaya. 

On your way back to Kathmandu, you will have sightseeing tour of medieval city of Bhaktapur which is also known as living museum of Newari art and architecture.

If your flight is sooner, we will directly drop you off at Kathmandu international airport from Bhaktapur

If you are departing late in the evening, we will drive back to Kathmandu where you can spend some time shopping and relaxing. We will drive you to international airport for your departure flight as per your flight schedule
