Nepal 7 days tour with short trek from Pokhara

Detail itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival followed by sightseeing of Ason and Indrachowk

On your arrival at Kathmandu international airport our guide will pick you up from airport and take you to your hotel. You will be served welcome drinks meanwhile your tour manager will shortly brief about the tour program. Afterwards you are free to unwind and relax in the hotel for a few hours. 

If you are experiencing jetlag, we suggest you to prolong your rest. Subsequently you will not be starting your actual tour program today.

But if you are feeling opposite, full of energy and excitement, your tour begins today. Your tour guide will lead you off to nearby tourist sites. After sightseeing you will be dropped back to your hotel. Dinner at your own cost.

Day 2: Kathmandu day tour

At 9.30am our guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to spice and vegetable market of Ason, oldest market of Indrachowk and then to Kathmandu durbar Square. From here you visit the Monkey temple or Swoyambhunath situated on top of a hill and then you drive to Patan durbar Square where you will have your lunch. 

Next on Kathmandu day tour you will visit Pashupatinath and Boudhanath temple. By 6pm, you will visit a Nepali restaurant for Nepalese authentic dinner with traditional dance performances. 

Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara by domestic flight

Today, you have later morning flight to Pokhara. It will give you time to wake up and have breakfast at your own pace. At 10am, we pick up you from your hotel and arrange the flight to Pokhara. 30 minutes scenic flight to Pokhara offers you amazing views of mountains and green hills.

Upon your arrival, you will be taken to your hotel for check-in and followed by rest.

Later at 02.00pm, we will pick up you for following activities.

1. Fewa Lake Boating
2. Visit to Davies Falls
3. Visit to Mahadev Cave
4. Hike to World Peace Pagoda

At about 6pm, we will drive you back to your hotel. The rest of the evening is on your own. 

Day 4: Pokhara – Australian Camp – Pokhara

Drive from Pokhara to Milanchowk. You will cover a distance of 11km. Trekking starts from Milanchowk and passes through Astham and Dhital, two typical Nepali villages. 

Along the trail you can observe mountain views such as Annapurna, Macchapuchre, Hiunchuli etc. You will have your lunch in Dhampus. Afterwards we continue our trek to Australian Camp via Pothana. It takes around 2 hrs of uphill trek to reach Australian Camp.

Check-in a guesthouse and take rest and refresh. Late afternoon you will be able to pay a visit to nearby forest, and a local school. You can enjoy the sunset views from the camp. Authentic Nepali cuisines will be served in dinner. 

Day 5: Australian Camp to Pokhara

Early morning enjoy sunrise views followed by breakfast. Then trek down to Kande and from thereon drive to Pokhara via Sarangkot. The drive will take about 45 minutes.

Optional Tour:

On your way back to Pokhara you can have following optional tour.

Back to Pokhara hotel after the trip. Enjoy rest of the time on your own.

Day 6: Pokhara to Kathmandu

We will leave Pokhara for Kathmandu right after breakfast at 7.30am. The 210km road journey takes about 7 hrs. Capture the scenic views of villages, local lifestyle, rivers, green hills and mountain peaks along the journey. Lunch enroute at a local highway restaurant. 

On the way to Kathmandu you can also side visit Manakamana Temple, the wish fulfilling temple by a cable car at your own expense. Please let us know in advance if you are interested so we can make prior arrangement. 

Instead of driving to Kathmandu directly, you can enjoy some extra side trips.

• Side Trip 1: Visit Begnas Lake | USD10 per person

  Begnas is the second largest lake situated 9 km north of Pokhara- Kathmandu highway. Those interested in visiting Begnas Lake, kindly inform your tour guide in advance. 

• Side Trip 2: Visit Bandipur | USD10 per person

  Located some 10km off Dumre along Pokhara-Kathmandu highway, Bandipur is a Newari town popular for medieval houses, Newari architecture and culture and mountain views. 

Check-in hotel after arriving in Kathmandu. You will be free to do what you feel like for the rest of the evening.

• Optional route: Take a 25 minutes flight to Kathmandu from Pokhara.

Day 7: Departure

  Want to enjoy the beautiful sunrise view and Panoramic Himalayan peaks including Mt. Everest? 

  Early morning, take an hour drive to Nagarkot to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and amazing views of Himalaya. 

  On your way back to Kathmandu, you will have sightseeing tour of medieval city of Bhaktapur which is also known as living museum of Newari art and architecture.

  If your flight is sooner, we will directly drop you off at Kathmandu international airport from Bhaktapur

If you are departing late in the evening, we will drive back to Kathmandu where you can spend some time shopping and relaxing. We will drive you to international airport for your departure flight as per your flight schedule
